Grindr For Straights

For those that don't know what Grindr is it is an iPhone app that allows Gay people to know if there are other gays in the room say if at a party. Or on a train or near by in woods I suppose.

But after 'thousands' of requests as [Developer's name] reports. He and his team are now going to produce a straight version. It is currently known as Project X so we will call it Findr for now and Findr will have to be different to the current model. Although Findr does sound just a little too west country for me. "She's out there somewhere lads I's just gotta Findr"

But it should be called Findr as that what it would need to do. For guys looking for an up for it girl, let's face it that's what we are getting excited about. An app to tell us lads that there are single (may not even be single) women who want what we've got. All presumably neatly ticked off and formatted in our profile page.

Girls don't actually need an app to let them know if there are guys who are up for it you see. If a women walks into a bar and looks around - well seek and ye shall find. We have nothing to hide. The point of Grindr was as [] said in the Observer Feb 5th "It's to take out the guessing in a social situation" and that works for gays. Because we all know men are just up for it, but that doesn't work for women it's different for them.

Now at the risk of falling into the Stephen Fry and [other lady] argument. I must tread carefully here. I know women do like sex. I'm just not sure they would want to advertise the fact. Unless, well it takes out the guessing in social situations. And what could a women be looking for?

And of course men wouldn't lie on there profiles now would they. So you're still going to have to chat up and get chatted up in the end

Ive lamented time and again what a world this would be if heteros could enjoy soemthing like grindr for men to meet women. Women just arent as fun as men. Hence why grindr for lesbians isnt popular.
